Week of Prayer 5th-11th November
The theme is ‘Foundations of the Church’ and we will be praying through what it means to be:
- rooted and established in love (Eph 3:17)
- with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone (Eph 2:20)
Harvest Sunday
This Sunday 8th October is our harvest service. Joe Gregory, the Connexional President, will be speaking. All donations for Foodbank will be gratefully received!
Current Foodbank requests: rice, long life milk, tinned fruit, tinned meat, rice pudding, custard, toilet rolls (4-packs), laundry products, cleaning products, men’s deodorant and shower gel, squash (1ltr), long life juice and tinned tomatoes.
Revive youth event
Exciting news! The Revive team are back! If you’re in school years 9-12 we’d love to see you for a special evening this September. Join us for music, talks, cafe-style chill out and tonnes more!

We are delighted to be having a Disability Awareness Sunday service at Countess Free Church on 24th September, 10:30am – 12pm. The theme is God’s gifts to each member of the body of Christ – which fits in perfectly with Ephesians 2:8-10 in our new September Bible series.

The Ely Brick Show is back again this year on Saturday 2nd September 2023, 10am-5pm. Put on by Ely and District Christians Against Poverty (CAP), this year’s event will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Ely, CB7 4HF, and all ticket proceeds will support the work of the Ely and District CAP Debt Centre. The Ely Brick Show is a fun opportunity to support the work of CAP and not one to miss if you are a Lego fan! There will be many Lego creations on display, Lego for sale, various games and a Duplo play area too. You can book your tickets here at an Early Bird rate, or pay on the door!
