Rich Tea Community

Where Everyone Belongs

Friendship, Faith, and Fun for Adults with Additional needs

The Rich Tea Community logo, designed to look like a Rich Tea biscuit. The biscuit is circular and light brown with indentations like a real biscuit. Inside the circle, the words "Faith," "Fun," and "Friendship" are arranged around "The Rich Tea" in the center. "Community" is written along the bottom edge. The logo is encased in a light blue circle.

At Rich Tea Community, we believe everyone deserves to belong. We’re a welcoming group of adults with learning disabilities or additional needs, along with their carers, friends, and family, who come together to share life, faith, and laughter. We meet on the third Sunday of each month from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the Countess Free Church.
Join us for tea and biscuits to start!

Countess Free Church, Ely is a welcoming and inclusive community. Our building is designed to be fully accessible, with step-free access for everyone.

The Through the Roof logo, a purple circle with white text "Positive About Disability" surrounding a central icon of overlapping geometric shapes in blue, green, and yellow, with the text "Through the Roof" in a dark purple rectangle in the center.
Stephen takes a moment to connect personally with a Rich Tea attendee, a handshake a tangible expression of care and shared community.
In the quiet act of petting a hen, a member of our fellowship explores their connection with God's creation, finding solace and meaning in the natural world.
Dawn's voice fills the room as she sings along, accompanied by Douglas on guitar, bringing joy and music to the fellowship gathering
On the table, scissors and paper invite the creative spirit to take hold, promising the joy of making something unique.

Our fellowship time table

A visual schedule for the Rich Tea program. The schedule is displayed in a grid with icons and text. "3.30" is followed by icons for making, a biscuit, tea, and two people representing friends. "4.00" is followed by icons for communicating and a face singing, ending with a portrait of Jesus with a halo. "5.00 pm" is followed by an icon of a house labeled "home". The background is black.
Why Option 3 is the best:

Whether you prefer to participate actively or simply relax and observe, you’ll find a place at Rich Tea. We celebrate everyone’s unique gifts and contributions. Our time together starts at 3:30 pm and we usually wraps up by 5:00 pm.
